Dinah Mason's School of Performing Dance was awarded
a letter of recognition for helping to sell poppies
to benefit the Veterans of Foreign Wars on May 28, 2007.
The dancers broke the record of money collected in the
Spring of '07. “They were more than happy
to help, after all, this is their past, present , and
future. These were their grandfathers, fathers, and
perhaps someday their husbands or sons,”
said Dinah.
Several of the dancers stated, “This is our
country and we're proud of it. And we are proud of the
soldiers that are defending our country. We hope they
come home safe and sound, and soon.”
Dinah, whose father was a WWII veteran, was very patriotic
and loved to be of any help to our soldiers both young
and old. |
